It could be argued that two people have never been more fated to cross paths. While Lauren and Kyle both grew up in the Commonwealth, attended the University of Virginia's School of Architecture, and studied abroad in Copenhagen Denmark, they did not yet meet until being thrown together in the same lecture hall at the University of Michigan's Open House. Immediate sparks turned into a powerful connection as Kyle and Lauren made their way through graduate architecture school - ultimately deciding they wanted to spend the rest of their lives at each other's side.
One month before delivering their graduate theses and after two years of hard work, Kyle proposed to Lauren on one knee at their favorite little Italian restaurant in Ann Arbor Michigan.
